    Leader in Sustainability: emerginC’s Green Mission

    At emerginC, we believe that true beauty should never come at the expense of the planet. Sustainability is not a trend for us, but a conviction woven into everything we do since our beginnings in the 1990s. Long before “clean beauty” and “eco-luxury” became popular, emerginC pioneered green initiatives that raised the bar in the beauty industry. And our customers make this possible every day.

    Here’s how we not only embrace sustainability, but actively lead the way:

    1. VERITREE tree planting initiative

    For every product sold, we plant a tree - worldwide. Through this program, more than one million trees have now been planted. With every purchase, you directly contribute to reforestation, ecosystem restoration and greater biodiversity. Together, we make a visible difference.

    2. Partnership with CleanHub

    For every package sold, emerginC removes 100 grams of plastic waste from nature before it reaches our oceans and rivers. Through our partnership with CleanHub, we actively contribute to cleaning up coastal areas and protecting marine life. We don’t just offset our impact - we genuinely help clean it up.

    3. emerginBees: protecting bee populations

    Through the emerginBees program, we support initiatives that protect bees and help restore bee colonies. Without bees, there is no pollination, no healthy biodiversity and ultimately fewer high-quality plant extracts for your skin. By choosing emerginC, you are also indirectly supporting the foundation of our natural ingredients.

    4. Recycled and plant-based packaging materials

    Our packaging is made from FSC-certified paper and plant-based inks. Wherever possible, we choose recycled glass. We also use tubes and bottles made from sugarcane instead of conventional plastic. This allows us to gradually reduce our material and CO2 footprint.

    5. Biodegradable, conscious formulas

    Our formulas are free from parabens, synthetic fragrances, SLS and other unnecessarily harmful ingredients. This is not only better for your skin, but also for the environment - especially when products enter surface water through shower or rinse water. Wherever possible, we use biodegradable components.

    6. Fair production in small batches

    We produce locally in the US, in small batches. This allows us to maintain control over quality, freshness and sustainability at every step: from sourcing and formulation to filling and packaging. No mass production, less waste and more care in every product.

    7. Supporting sustainable agriculture

    For our active ingredients, we work with suppliers who support regenerative agriculture and sustainable harvesting. Think spirulina, white tea, moringa and other botanical extracts. In this way, we contribute to healthy soils, fair supply chains and strong local ecosystems.
