Advice for acne-prone skin

Acne-prone skin deals with clogged pores, increased sebum production, and inflammation. However, not all acne-prone skin is oily or resilient. The skin may also be thin, dehydrated, sensitive, or damaged, for example due to overly intensive cleansing and treatment.

That is why we prefer to recommend a personalized mix of products rather than exclusively a complete acne range. Combine targeted ingredients such as salicylic acid, niacinamide, and gentle exfoliants with a gentle cleanser, lightweight hydration, and soothing barrier care. Using too many strong acne products at once can cause redness, flaking, and sensitivity, and further disrupt the skin's balance. Introduce active ingredients gradually, treat specific areas as needed, and protect your skin daily with SPF. If you continue to experience problems, ask us about an esthetician who specializes in acne.

1

STEP 1 CLEANSING

Cleansing the skin is the important first step in your skincare routine. Use a fragrance-free, sulfate-free cleanser that cleanses thoroughly without drying out the skin, such as the Multi Fruit Cleanser, which exfoliates immediately, or the antibacterial Deglazing Cleanser. The Deglazing Toner is perfect for this skin type. The lighter Lavender Toner is too.

2

Prevent & correct

Active Hydrating Complex is rich in aloe and chamomile to soothe, high-quality hyaluronic acid to hydrate, and ALSO natural sulfur, which helps regulate sebum. A vitamin B complex with niacinamide makes it a complete treatment for oily skin. Can be used as both a serum and moisturizer in one. Use Blemish Control tinted locally to heal inflammation.

3

exfoliate

If your skin is a little troubled, a 6-week treatment with the At-Home Peel & Clarifying kit is ideal. If you use the Multi Fruit Cleanser or the Complexion Control cream, skip this step. You don't want too much salicylic acid in your routine.

4

Nourish and Care

The Active Hydrating serum is perfect for your skin; it reduces inflammation, calms redness, hydrates, and helps regulate sebum production. If your pores are truly clogged and you have a lot of inflammation, Complexion Control is ideal because the salicylic acid clears the pores. In that case, use the Active Hydrate serum during the day, applying Blemish Control directly to blemishes. In the evening, use Complexion Control on the affected areas.

5

Intensive Age Fighters

For this skin type, use your age fighters mainly around the eyes. The Protocell cream is particularly suitable for fine lines and hydrates and nourishes without overloading the skin.

6

Protection

Always end your daytime routine with natural sun protection. Our SPF 50 does not cover your face in chemicals or pore-clogging mineral oils, but is gentle and kind for daily use, without harmful substances. Chamomile, aloe, and buffered natural zinc oxide not only protect your skin, but even help improve it. Always use the Active Hydrating Complex after sun exposure or a sauna.
