The emerginC Vitamin C + Retinol Mask contains not only vitamin C but also citrus medica limonum , or lemon oil. Retinol (Vitamin A) is an antioxidant that activates cell division, thereby increasing tissue remodeling. Provides protection to the outer skin layers, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers and also promotes blood flow, which ensures a beautiful complexion. Vitamin A is also called ß-carotene and excels for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties for the skin. Thegreen tea in the mask protects the skin from free radicals. Free radicals are created in the skin by oxidative stress (air pollution, psychological and physical stress) and UV radiation, attack the cell wall and break down the collagen or elastin fibers in the skin resulting in sagging and wrinkles.
