This piece of desert in the Mahajunga Delta is forest again thanks to the 234,003 mangrove trees planted through the Plant-It program; and in the process gave 425 days of work to the local population, which is extremely poor.

Also important; mangrove trees remove extraordinary amounts of carbon dioxide from the air, and replanting deforested areas is a necessary step in fighting global warming. THANKS to all of you; without you this would not be possible!
