Apricot kernel oil
Strengthens skin tissue, protects, nourishes and reduces skin irritation. Contains vitamins A, B, C and E and various minerals: calcium, chlorine, copper, iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, sodium, phosphorus and sulfur. The high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids makes the skin soft and supple.

Apricot Kernels
Very finely ground apricot kernels provide a natural, exfoliating effect.

Acerola
Rich in vitamins A and C. The vitamin C in acerola boosts skin's own collagen production. It is also a powerful antioxidant and free radical scavenger, helping to combat the aging of skin cells. In addition, acerola also contains mineral salts that are nourishing for tired and stressed skin. The juices and proteins from the plant help moisturize the skin and maintain capillaries.

AHAs (fruit acids)
Water-soluble, natural, organic (fruit) acids with an exfoliating effect. They loosen dead skin cells, stimulate cell renewal in the upper layer of the skin and absorb moisture; AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) make the skin softer and smoother and help repair dry skin. In the deeper layers of the skin, they cause the production of collagen. There are several types of AHAs. EmerginC products contain one or more of the following types: glycolic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid and/or malic acid. Exactly which AHAs have been used is listed for each product. The fruit acids used can also be found individually in the ingredient list.

Alpha lipoic acid
One of the most powerful antioxidants (for example: it has a 400x more powerful antioxidant effect than conventional vitamin C). Especially in the field of fighting and neutralizing free radicals, it is therefore indispensable in the fight against skin aging and sagging. It is both fat and water soluble and therefore active both inside and outside the skin cells. In fact, once alpha-lipoic acid passes the cell walls, it has an even stronger neutralizing effect on free radicals than outside the cells. Alpha-lipoic acid also restores and stimulates the production and energy intake of skin cells. In doing so, it supports the action of vitamins C, E and H and coenzyme Q10 by "recycling" them once they are used up, thus extending their ability to neutralize free radicals. Alpha lipoic acid improves the metabolism and energy production of skin cells by being small enough as a molecule to penetrate the mitochondria, where energy is produced. It also helps the production of glutathione, an important antioxidant, which inhibits free radical production and protects against free radical-induced cell damage from e.g. smoking, UV-radiation and exposure to toxins. It also restores the proteins in skin cells, has an anti-inflammatory effect and a soothing effect on the skin. With regular use it will refine the skin, reduce the size of coarse pores and improve the skin texture.

Algae Extract
An extract of marine algae applied to normalize the skin's moisture level and increase the elasticity of the epidermis. It is also a valuable ingredient because it adds essential oligo-elements, moisturizes the skin surface while leaving a protective layer.

Alginate
Hydrophilic polymer extracted from algae (kelp). The main component is alginic acid, a polysaccharide (like starch), which is composed of mannuronic and guluronic acids. Due to its gel-forming property, it will turn into a rubbery substance after mixing with a liquid.

Allantoin
Extract from wheat germ. Soothing and calming, keratolytic (therefore anti-peel/anti-dandruff), suppression of itching, irritation, sunburn, roughness, cracks and fissures; acceleration of cell proliferation (regeneration, anti-age, skin rejuvenation), epithelialization and wound healing; strengthening of the wall of veins, preventing the formation of visible red and blue veins. Very small concentrations are already sufficient for optimal action.

Aloe vera
Soothes, calms and cools the skin, reduces redness and skin irritation after e.g. sunburn, has strong moisturizing properties, is rich in vitamins and minerals and therefore nourishing, stimulates cell growth.

Almond oil
is well absorbed by the skin, and does not leave an unwanted layer of fat. Sweet almonds contain oil, protein and carbohydrate compounds. Almond oil has a softening and suppleness effect on the skin. The oil also prevents moisture loss from the epidermis, resulting in a better moisture balance. Bitter almonds are not considered because they can lead to the formation of toxins.

Ameliox®
A natural peptide and liposome complex with botox-like action, consisting of a combination of carnosine, a natural dipeptide (combination of 2 proteins) and silymarin (milk thistle). Ameliox reacts with the free sugars in the epidermis and prevents collagen fibers from forming complexes with these sugars. This prevents cluster formation between collagen fibers and keeps the collagen and elastin tissues softer. Ameliox enhances the action of argireline.

Amino acids
Build skin cells and repair tissues, form antibodies to fight bacteria and viruses, stabilize the acid mantle and provide moisture to the skin. Amino acids also help build RNA and DNA. RNA, the working copy of DNA, is necessary for making proteins and therefore necessary for the continued life of a cell. Together, DNA and RNA ensure optimal cell metabolism, allowing sagging skin to recover more quickly.

Contains polyunsaturated fatty acids (including linoleic acid and omega-6), which ensure that resistance, shine and softness of the skin are maintained. Also contains high concentrations of oleic acids and vitamin E that make it very suitable as a moisturizer, and give protection against oxidation and free radicals. Also, the large amounts of tocopherols in the oil protect against oxidation and free radicals. Argan oil thus has strong anti-age properties. It also helps to increase the moisture permeability of the skin, gives the skin nutrition and energy, and contains building blocks that the body needs to produce cell membranes.

Argireline® (Acetyl Hexapeptide-AH3)
Peptide known as a line relaxer. This ingredient is a breakthrough in the cosmetic world regarding its anti-wrinkle properties. The discovery of this hexapeptide (a chain of 6 natural amino acids) has a clinically proven similar effect to botox, however without all the side effects and risk of damage to the skin or facial muscles. Argireline blocks the neurotransmitters (nerve signals) that cause facial muscles to tighten, without paralyzing these muscles (like botox). The natural expression and movements are preserved, while the muscles responsible for the formation of wrinkles relax. This causes a significant reduction in the depth and size of fine lines and wrinkles and helps prevent and reduce them. Research shows that a concentration of 10% argireline gives the most optimal effects. No more effective results are achieved at higher concentrations. Clinical tests show that argireline can reduce the depth of wrinkles by up to 27% after 30 days and reduce wrinkles around the eyes by up to 17% after 15 days. Tests also show that skin feels up to 39% softer and more elastic, up to 42% reduction in dryness and up to 45% improvement in complexion was noted.

Research shows that astaxanthin has up to 6000x stronger antioxidant activity than vitamin C and up to 800x stronger than Q10 and up to 550x stronger than vitamin E. However, it is a very expensive ingredient, the reason it is not yet frequently found in skincare, emerginC is one of the first! The U.S. government has now approved 17 claims for astaxanthin, including the claim for skin support and anti-aging. Unlike most antioxidants, astaxanthin is active both inside and outside the cells and is able not only to neutralize free radicals but also to tackle their harmful effects. For example, astaxanthin helps protect and repair skin cells after free radical exposure. In addition, it makes a valuable contribution to the skin in other areas as well: it helps reduce puffiness, brighten dark circles, even out pigmentation, has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, helps improve hydration and elasticity, and stimulates cell renewal.

Silicic acid (silicea): the second most common element in the earth's crust and also found in the oceans: silicic acid is a trace element from algae that is found in nature wherever there is a need for strength, elasticity and flexibility. Silica is present in almost every cell in our bodies and especially in fast-growing cells such as those of the skin, hair and nails. As we age, the amount of silica in our bodies decreases. The elasticity and resilience of connective tissue also decrease and its binding capacity to water weakens. Silica stimulates the skin's ability to bind water and has a beneficial effect on the skin's metabolism. At the same time it helps in the development of connective tissue and thus elasticity of the skin. Rich in calcium and magnesium, it soothes and softens.

Coconut oil: rich in vitamins and fatty acids, has a protective effect on the cell membranes against dehydration and sunbathing, among other things. The more unsaturated and therefore subject to oxidation fatty acids are in the cell membranes, the more the cells are subject to free radicals and oxidation. Coconut oil contains small molecules that are easily absorbed by the skin, it therefore does not leave a greasy layer. Coconut oil is slightly acidic, which is good for the pH balance of the skin. The lauric and caprylic acids in coconut oil have antimicrobial and fungicidal effects. It is used in face creams, lip balms and against chapped hands and feet. The anti-inflammatory effect of coconut oil can also be beneficial in psoriasis and eczema.

Kombucha: a fermented sweet tea variety known for its many medicinal uses. In China, Korea and Japan, among others, kombucha has been used for many hundreds of years. Kombucha can be compared to health-promoting products such as yogurt, as it is produced by fermenting lactobacillus and yeast cultures. In the fermentation process, organic acids important for the skin such as gluconic acid, glucuronic acid, lactic acid, acetic acid, butyric acid, malic acid and amino acids are formed. This process also produces vitamins such as vitamin B and vitamin C, natural antibiotics and enzymes. Kombucha evens out the complexion, improves clarity, radiance and color, and counteracts glycolization (the hardening of collagen fibers by sugar) and roughening of the skin.

Cucumber: soothes, softens.

Copper: provides assistance in protein metabolism and energy production in the skin. It activates the enzyme lysil oxidase, which helps collagen molecules to create collagen fibers. In melanocytes (pigment cells), copper stimulates the enzyme tyrosinase, which converts the amino acid tyrosine into precursors of melanin. Copper therefore also plays an important role in pigmentation in the skin. Also plays an important role in the production of keratin in the epidermis, thus helping to improve tone and texture, and inhibits the production of histamine, the substance that causes itching.

Cornflower: soothes, cools, softens, antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory, restores moisture balance.

Also appears to have good properties to increase the skin's hydration capacity and maintain the amount of natural lipids in the skin.

M

Macadamia oil: suitable for all skin types, but especially for dry and mature (older) skin. Macadamia oil protects our skin in the same way as our sebum does. Macadamia oil is quickly absorbed by the skin and promotes rapid hydration (moisturization).

Magnesium: stimulates the production of the proteins that transform into collagen in the skin, also an essential component of very many enzyme systems: involved, among other things, in the synthesis of protein and DNA and in the storage and release of energy in ATP. ATP is made by the mitochondria (small power plants within the cells). The correct functioning of the mitochondria and the amount of ATP produced play a crucial role in the aging process. Magnesium also activates the absorption of other minerals and vitamins and plays an important role in the transmission of impulses in the nerves and muscles; it has a relaxing and calming effect on the facial muscles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (vitamin C): a highly stable, water-soluble and non-irritating form of vitamin C.

Magnolia: soothes, calms.

Malic acid (malic acid): improves elasticity, removes dead skin cells, has a positive effect on pigment.

Mallow extract: provides the skin with vitamins of the A and B group and mucilages (these act as skin humectants and protectors). They provide a high level of hydration and elasticity. Calms, soothes, anti-inflammatory. Contains flavonoids (these protect preventively against free radicals). A very suitable ingredient for sensitive, flaky skin and eczema.

Manganese: is part of the antioxidant system and supports important enzymes in the formation of collagen and supports the metabolic and reproductive processes in the skin.

Marine biopolymers: natural proteins with astringent properties, make wrinkles less visible and even out the skin. Biopolymers help to create new cells, and support the skin in renewal and give the skin cells a valuable breeding ground. They increase the elasticity and firmness of the skin, have a strong moisturizing effect, stimulate cell metabolism and significantly improve the skin structure. Biopolymers form a protective layer on the skin.

Matricaria (chamomile): has a moisturizing, calming, soothing, mild anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.

Matrixyl 3000™ (microcollagen pentapeptide): a microcollagen and anti-aging peptide that encourages fibroblasts to produce new collagen, increases collagen levels and stimulates repair of the dermal matrix. Matrixyl is one of the most researched anti-aging ingredients said to be as effective as retinol in medical strength and more effective than vitamin C at reducing wrinkles.

Meadowfoam (limnanthes alba) seed extract: a nourishing extract, rich in natural vitamin C, gives a natural glow to the skin.

Lactic Acid: removes dead skin cells, stimulates cell renewal, maintains skin moisture, softens, improves tone and texture, keeps the skin's acid mantle (PH level) intact and helps protect against harmful bacteria. Lactic acid is superior to all other AHAs in terms of increasing hyaluronic acid deposition in the skin (70-95% more effective than glycolic acid).

Microspheres: a high-quality combination of microspheres from acacia and hyaluronic acid have filling properties as they expand by attracting and binding water. This keeps the skin hydrated and "plumped up" as it were due to the retained moisture, filling out wrinkles from the inside out.

Mimosa extract: soothing, antibacterial, moisturizing, firming.

Mulberry root: helps regulate pigmentation, thus having a positive effect on the radiance and evenness of the complexion. Mulberry gives the skin a healthy and radiant appearance.

Myoxinol®: a Botox-like plant peptide obtained from hibiscus grains, which appears to have the ability to prevent and smooth expression wrinkles. Myoxinol has a dual effect: unlike injectables, it slows down the cellular aging process, which inevitably occurs from the age of 25. In addition, it relaxes the muscle contractions in the skin, which prevents contraction of facial muscles. The result is a reduction in facial mimic lines.

N

Nanotope liposomes: a patented ingredient delivery system, originally used in the pharmaceutical industry. Liposomes are skin-identical 'carriers' that allow the ingredients from creams to penetrate deep into the underlying skin, depositing the active ingredients there. Nanotope liposomes are 3 to 5 times smaller than ordinary liposomes and therefore make this cream and its active ingredients extremely effective. Liposomes also provide optimal hydration.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): ensures the production of ceramides and free fatty acids, which strengthen the barrier function of the skin. As a result, the skin loses less moisture and is more resistant to external influences. Niacinamide is also known to reduce pigmentation in aging skin and has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, making it a suitable ingredient for acne, rosacea or redness(crease ease emulsion)

NMF: natural moisturizing factor, a collective term for various substances such as ceramides, amino acids and lactic acids with a sponge-like effect due to their moisture-absorbing properties. Together they regulate the water balance in the horny layer.

Noni: rich in antioxidants and linoleic acid, an essential omega-6 fatty acid, which helps moisturize and soften the skin. Noni also contains the highest natural concentration of proxeronine: enzymes necessary for the efficient functioning of skin cell membranes. It helps skin cells quickly absorb supplied nutrients while promoting the elimination of waste products (they prevent skin cells from functioning optimally).

Proxeronine is converted in the body to xeronine. The condition of the skin depends on proteins in our body. Only when the enzyme xeronine binds to protein does the protein become active and able to provide the structure of skin, hair and bones with proper cell division and nutrition. This happens because under the influence of activated proteins the permeability of the cell membrane, also intracellular, improves. Not only the cell, but also the cell organelles get better chemical transport. The proteins activated by xeronine also eliminate harmful substances. They attach to foreign substances and weaken them, the T lymphocytes do the rest. The cell function of skin, hair and bones improves not only because of this, but also because of the activated hormone production. Hormone formation can only occur because the enzyme xeronine binds to protein. Xeronine activates a chain of enzymes, all of which are necessary for the formation of hormones. The thymus gland is a hormone-supporting organ that functions as the conductor of the immune system. The waste products weakened by xeronine action are cleared in a timely manner by the T lymphocytes. Proxeronine is stored in the liver, hair and skin. If there is a shortage of proxeronine, then this will certainly backfire on the skin the hair and the liver. Many skin disorders are the result of this. The addition of proxeronine is the most important contribution to the recovery of such disorders. The chronic shortage of xeronine has arisen from proxeronine depletion in nature. Humans do not obtain sufficient proxeronine from the diet. Skin, hair and liver in particular are a repository of proxeronine and need plenty of xeronine to function healthily.

O

Olive oil (with gamma linolenic acid GLA): due to the presence of a lot of fat and minerals, very suitable for fragile skin. Soothing, healing and moisturizes the skin. GLA is an important component of the cell wall and important for the production of skin cells. It has natural anti-inflammatory and skin-rejuvenating properties and can reactivate certain aging or sun-damaged skin cells.

P

Palamaria palmata (sea parsley) extract: sea parsley grows in a nutrient-rich saltwater environment and has a sponge-like structure. A biofermentation process creates a high metabolic activity, which makes this plant so enormously powerful. It has a high protein content, and is rich in minerals, vitamins, amino acids and trace elements. Soap parsley is very rich in antioxidants, replenishes the energy level in the skin, soothes and thus ensures healthy, energetic skin. Several studies have also shown that it breaks down glycolipids (sugar fats) that sag the skin, thus providing an anti-age effect.

Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5): a precursor of pantothenic acid (vitamin B group), which is a component of the well-known coenzyme-A. Coenzyme-A plays a central role in cellular metabolism. Coenzyme-A is found in all organs with higher metabolism, such as the skin. Damage or overload of tissues results in a higher need for pantothenic acid. Panthenol has good penetration capacity and is converted into pantothenic acid by the skin. This makes cell division easier; panthenol thus contributes to skin rejuvenation and, for example, wound healing. It also has hydrophilic (water attracting) properties, so that the moisture level can be normalized, thus combating rough or flaky skin. It has a soothing effect on inflammations, itching, contact allergies, irritations and sunburn, improves the elasticity of the skin and promotes the formation of proteins containing sulfur (e.g. in the keratin of the horny layer).

Papaya extract: a natural papaya enzyme that helps remove dead skin cells.

Peppermint: soothes, softens, cools, antiseptic.

Pepha®-tight: a naturally pure algae extract mixed with polysaccharides. The special culture technology guarantees an exceptionally high quality and purity of this algae extract. Instantly firms and tightens the skin while providing a long-term effect by increasing the formation of collagen-1, repairing damaged collagen fibers, protecting against oxidation and stimulating the production of collagen by the skin itself. With long-term use, it also provides intensive firming in the connective tissue.

Peru balsam extract: antibacterial, promotes the healthy functioning of the skin.

Peach extract: provides optimal skin hydration and promotes the absorption of the ingredients by the skin.

Plant Collagen: helps maintain water content in the skin, builds skin structures and restores connective tissue layers.

Pumpkin Seed Oil: cold-pressed 1 of the most nourishing oils in the world, suitable for all skin types. Contains nearly 50% essential fatty acids, natural vitamin E, carotenoids, niacin, potassium, phytosterols and the fat-soluble chlorophyll, and rich in vitamins A, C and E. Known to also help fight fine lines, wrinkles and superficial dryness; helps prevent moisture loss from the skin.

Pycnogenol (maritime pine bark extract): extremely powerful, natural antioxidant. So powerful that it protects vitamin E from oxidation and "recycles" vitamin C: thus prolonging its activity. Pycnogenol protects against free radicals, strengthens microcirculation of the capillaries and improves oxygenation, hydration and cell renewal. It binds directly to collagen and elastin and prevents them from being broken down by free radicals and destructive enzymes. Works anti-inflammatory and helps protect the skin from the damage of UV light. It helps reduce hyperpigmentation, binds against scarring and contains properties that counteract skin allergies. Pycnogenol is extracted from the bark of French maritime pine (pinus pinaster ait): the only source of pycnogenol. These pines have never been in contact with pesticides. Moreover, no toxic solvents are used in the production of pycnogenol.

R

Protects the outer skin layers, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers and also promotes circulation, giving a fresher complexion. Vitamin A is also called ß-carotene and excels for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects on the skin. Carotene deepens the tan and protects against skin damage and the effects of sunlight.

Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A): An antioxidant that, when applied topically, increases the mitosis (cell division) activity of skin cells and thus tissue formation. Protects the outer skin layers, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin fibers and also promotes circulation, giving a fresher complexion. Vitamin A is also known as b- carotene and excels for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects on the skin. Carotene deepens the tan and protects against skin damage and the effects of sunlight.

Red algae (asparagopsis armata): a highly purifying algae packed with phyto-nutrients. Helps fill wrinkles from within, elevators and firms the skin due to its high water absorption capacity. Red algae have an inhibiting effect on the enzymatic degeneration of both capillaries and the extracellular matrix. As a result, loss of elasticity is corrected, skin texture improves and wrinkles are visibly reduced.

Red clover: the phytohormones of red clover help cells to store moisture and regenerate, and ensure that collagen levels are maintained, so that the skin remains firm and elastic.

Red tea extract (rooibos): plant preservative and powerful antioxidant, eliminates the free radicals responsible for skin aging (see green and white tea). Also has a soothing effect on the skin.

Rosehip extract: thanks to all its valuable contents and its unusually high content of vitamin C, rosehip is excellent for skin care. The small fruits support the skin's regenerative capacity, protect the skin from aging and are good for the connective tissue. Suitable for the care of age spots and orange peel skin. Rosehip is also strongly moisturizing, helps protect the skin from damage to the capillaries and has a firming effect.

Rosemary: antioxidant, stimulates circulation, purifies.

S

Safflower oil (thistle seed oil): safflower (or carthamus tinctorius) is a thistle-like plant that requires very little water and can grow in the driest conditions, even in the desert. The oil belongs to the drying oils and is so mild that it could even be used for care around the eyes.

Safflower oil is rich in essential, monounsaturated fatty acids and, in particular, oleic acid; this fatty acid is needed to restore the omega-6/omega-3 balance.

Soothing, nourishing and moisturizing for dry to very dry skin, but also suitable for oily skin with acne, normal skin with a tendency to inflammation, mixed skin with high sebum secretion, dermatoses, itching, baby care, dull and dry hair. The Egyptians used safflower for the bands that were wrapped around the mummies, as it had an antifungal and purifying function. Safflower is additionally known for its diuretic and sweat-promoting properties.

Salicylic acid (beta hydroxy acid or BHA): salicylic acid (BHA) works in the same way as fruit acids (AHAs), but also possesses talents that AHAs do not. Salicylic acid, like fruit acids, stimulates the release of dead skin cells, but it also has the ability to penetrate and cleanse deep into the pore, tackling stubborn impurities, clogged pores, blemishes and blackheads. Salicylic acid softens, improves tone and texture and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Also contains soothing and anti-irritant agents.

Sage: known for its healing properties. Supports the skin's ability to repair itself, nourishes and purifies.

Saxifragra sarmentosa extract: helps regulate pigmentation.

Shea Butter: a vegetable fat with excellent skin softening qualities. Has mild anti-inflammatory properties, gives slight protection against UV rays due to the presence of cinnamic acid. Shea Butter also plays a role in cell repair and improved circulation in the capillaries, this makes it also useful in healing processes, cracked skin, chapped or ulcerated skin. Due to the high moisture-binding effect, the outer protective layer is kept intact, moisture loss is prevented and moisture is retained. The skin becomes soft and supple and is protected from drying out.

Silica: the second most common element in the earth's crust and also found in the oceans: silica is a trace element from algae that can be found in nature wherever there is a need for strength, elasticity and flexibility.

Silicones: silicones are polymers that are heat resistant, and highly resistant to UV light and oxidation, among other things, and have a low toxic value. The silicones used here are obtained from silicon (or silicic acid), a trace element that is the second most abundant element on earth after oxygen. Silica is essential in the formation of connective tissue, and together with collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and glucosamine, ensures the strength of the tissue. The unique liquid form of this substance creates a silky texture that glides smoothly over the skin, does not feel sticky or greasy, and has strong water-binding properties. It therefore also helps to hydrate the skin, fill in wrinkles.

Silybum marianum fruit/lecithin/carnosine/tocopherol: a special blend of active peptides that relaxes wrinkles and prevents collagen stiffening.

Orange Extract: extracted from the peel of the orange, it has a purifying, detoxifying and soothing effect on the skin.

Sodium hyaluronate™: this high-performance ingredient is a dermatological moisturizer that has been reduced in size and made homogeneous after a technological process. As a result, it is more easily "recognized" at the cellular level, improving penetration and effectiveness. Hyaluron, a skin's own ingredient, can bind multiple of its own molecular weight to water, thus providing more volume in the skin and therefore a wrinkle-filling effect.

Soy: rich in isoflavonoids, plant hormones that mimic the effect of estrogen.

Spirulina: spirulina is the botanical name for a blue-green micro algae extract that is among the richest natural sources of vitamins and minerals in the world; it is packed with phytonutrients that nourish and remineralize the skin. Spirulina has no outer cell wall and therefore can penetrate the skin quickly and well. It promotes cell renewal and stimulates the metabolism of the skin. It is therefore often used to speed up wound healing and reduce scarring. Spirulina also has a detoxifying effect, balances the moisture level in the skin and stimulates elasticity in the epidermis. It contains skin-essential oligo-elements and helps to hydrate and protect the skin's surface.

Squalane: occurs naturally in the skin; it is a greasy, oily ingredient and a natural moisturizer. From the age of 25, the skin loses its ability to produce this ingredient, which causes aging. Added to creams, it penetrates quickly and deeply into the skin, where it blends with collagen and elastin. Squalane can also be found in various natural sources, such as vegetables and fish.

Stearic acid: fatty acid found in all natural oils and fats. This fatty acid is prepared from vegetable oil.

Titanium dioxide: an effective, natural reflector of solar radiation and UV-A and UV-B barrier. By applying titanium dioxide to the skin, sun rays are reflected, rather than penetrating the skin.

Tocopherol (vitamin E): an effective, fat-soluble antioxidant that protects the skin from external (sun, tobacco, ultraviolet rays, pollution) and internal damage (from free radicals attacking our cell membranes). In addition, it promotes microcirculation of the skin. Because vitamin E strengthens the lipid (fat) film that protects the epidermis, the skin retains moisture better, making it more hydrated. The skin stays toned and firm longer. It absorbs UV-B rays and thus can have a protective effect on (skin) cell membranes.

Tocopheryl acetate: there are many forms of vitamin E (tocopherol). Tocopheryl acetate is the most effective form. It is an effective, fat-soluble antioxidant that has a protective effect on cell membranes. It absorbs UVB radiation, protecting the skin from external (sun, tobacco, pollution) and internal damage (from free radicals attacking our cell membranes). This keeps skin cells and capillaries healthy. Also promotes microcirculation of the skin. As a result, the skin loses less moisture and is more resistant to external influences. Niacinamide is also known to reduce pigmentation in aging skin and has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, making it a suitable ingredient for acne, rosacea or redness.

Vitamin B8 (biotin or vitamin H): helps against dry, flaky skin.

Vitamin C: a powerful antioxidant and important co-factor in the production of collagen and elastin. Tackles pigmentation problems, neutralizes free radicals and regenerates vitamin E. As a fruit acid, it also helps improve skin tone and texture by removing dead skin cells. Can help reverse present damage caused by UV rays and protects against future sun damage. Vitamin C counteracts redness and accelerates the healing process of the skin.

Vitamin C ester (ascorbyl palmitate): a type of vitamin C that is not only water soluble, but also fat soluble. As a result, it has a much greater and more effective effect. It has a powerful protective antioxidant effect and helps repair skin damage that has already occurred. Vitamin C is essential in the formation of new collagen in the skin. This makes the skin firmer and reduces the formation of wrinkles.

Vitamin E (tocopherol): an effective, fat-soluble antioxidant that protects the skin from external (sun, tobacco, ultraviolet rays, pollution) and internal damage (from free radicals attacking our cell membranes). Tocopherol is the most effective form of vitamin E.

Vitamin F: Vitamin F cannot be produced by the body and must be absorbed by the skin from food and cosmetics. Unfortunately, the Western diet does not contain enough vitamin F. Adding it to cosmetics therefore fulfills a real need. Vitamin F is used to combat dry and rough skin and helps to strengthen cell walls.

White nettle: purifies, disinfects, causes cell renewal and refines skin texture; skin becomes softer, more radiant and feels comfortable.

White tea extract: contains 3x more polyphenols than green tea extract and thus has an exceptionally high value as an antioxidant to protect skin cells from free radicals. In addition, white tea improves the skin's own defense mechanism: research shows that it prevents the activities of enzymes responsible for the breakdown of elastin and collagen. White tea extract also contains many valuable vitamins such as B, C, E and K: important for the functioning of skin functions.

Carrot Oil: an NMF (natural moisturizing factor) that helps maintain fat and water levels in the skin. Is composed of a high-quality carrot extract. In addition to carotins (carotenes) and carotinoids, the oil also contains tocopherols (vitamin E) and other valuable substances. Carotene is a pro-vitamin A, i.e. it is a precursor of vitamin A. When applied to the skin, carotene is converted into vitamin A by sebaceous gland cells. This discovery explains why skin disorders caused by vitamin A deficiency can be controlled externally by cosmetics containing carotene. Vitamin A, when used externally, increases the mitosis (cell division) activity of skin cells and thus accelerates tissue formation. It protects the outer layers of the skin and counteracts excessive cornification of the skin and hair follicles. Vitamin A also promotes skin circulation so that a fresher complexion results. Carotene deepens the tan and protects against skin-damaging effects of sunlight.
